Southwark Foodbank and Pecan Christmas Campaign: Southwark Foodbank and Pecan are launching their 2023 Christmas Campaign Give a Gift of Hope.  Last year, our Christmas campaign saw more than 100 families in Southwark supported over the Christmas period and we will continue in 2023 to offer festive gifts and treats, as well as vouchers to buy food over the Christmas period. It was a tremendous success, with a very positive response.

Pecan Women’s Service are part of the ‘Big Give: Women & Girls match funding campaign. From 12pm (midday) 11 October to 12pm (midday) 18 October, every pound you donate will double the difference for charities, paving the way for a brighter future for the women and girls. If we can raise £5,000 during this week then we will receive £10,000.’ 

Pecan and Southwark Foodbank are supporting the Guarantee our Essentials campaign calling for the UK government to reform Universal Credit to ensure that everyone can afford the essentials we all need to get by - and help end the need for food banks.

Peckham Pantry School Holiday Ambassadors/Volunteers | We are particularly in need of ambassadors during the school holidays, so our continuous service is not interrupted to enable the pantry to remain open.
