Every gift you give to Pecan helps tackle poverty in Southwark by restoring dignity, belonging and belief.

Your donation reaches people who may feel invisible – the isolated person longing for connection, the neighbour facing unemployment, or the family struggling with food insecurity. Through connected community services, your generosity enables us to combine practical help with emotional and community care, so people can feel hopeful and believe in their potential again. It makes a real impact across all our services, from foodbank and pantry support to employment training, safe spaces for women, and welcoming hubs where everyone belongs.

  • £15 could pay for another person to receive three days of food from Southwark Foodbank.
  • £20 could help a woman receive one-on-one advocacy session
  • £30 could enable someone to benefit from a one-to-one employment preparation session.
  • £50+ can help us support and run our projects
