Pride Month Plus – Writing for Wellbeing

During Pride Month we are offering a FREE writing workshop online for gay men interested in using creative writing to think about their own story and experiences for fiction or memoir. The workshop will be a 90-minute online event (a Zoom link will be shared prior to the event). Creative Writing with Wordsmiths

During this 6 week Writing for Wellbeing group facilitated by Naomi at Wordsmiths, you will be guided through structured writing activities and games to enable you to create and share a mixture of fictional and true stories based on your own experiences and ideas.

Skyline Stories at Bold Tendencies with Pecan | Thursday 8 August, 11am – 12:30pm (Free) Venue: Bold Tendencies, Floor 7-10, Peckham Multi-Storey Car Park SE15 4ST

The Skyline creative workshop will focus on activities that encourage you to think beyond the horizon of the city and claim a sense of home in the bustling skyline. You will be encouraged to re-imagine the city through fun activities, to produce drawings and creative writing inspired by visions of what the city might look like in the decades to come.

Peckham Pantry Fundraiser


For one weekend only, seventeen of Peckham’s restaurants – from old institutions to the latest openings – will join forces to offer never-seen-before £8 specials on each of their menus, with £1 for each special donated to Peckham Pantry: a membership community food club that supports low income families.

IT Sessions at Peckham Library

Pecan’s Employment Support are excited to offer a 10-week IT/Digital course in partnership with Peckham Library. The course is designed for beginners and intermediate learners and will be delivered by an experienced professional.

  • Beginner’s Embroidery with Alyssa: 2.30pm-3.30pm at Peckham hub.
  • Hub lunch: Last Thursday of the month, 12.30-2pm.
  • Summer Event: Thursday 25 July, 11am-3pm at our Peckham Hub
