“Me and my children will be able to have some meat and fish for the first time in 6 months”
This is what a parent told us in the week before Christmas after receiving a voucher. Southwark Foodbank supported over 200 households with food, including 91 families who received Tesco vouchers to choose food that will make Christmas day special. Another parent told us;
“It feels like someone really cares for me and my family especially at this time of year, Thank you”
This has only been possible by the generosity of people who have supported us in time and money. We would like to give a special thank you to the London Oriana Choir (pictured) helping at our fundraising collection at London Bridge where we raised over £4,000.
