Things to do in half-term and beyond

  1. Wakehurst and Kew Gardens – Anyone in receipt of Pension Credit or Universal Credit can get £1 entry tickets. Pre-book online at www.kew.org or walk up and pay £1 on the gate.

     

  2. London Zoo – £3 tickets are available for the whole family (under 3s go free), from 11am every day of the week until the end of March 2023. You muct be receiving Universal Credit, Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, Employment & Support Allowance, Income Support or Jobseekers Allowance.

  3. Royal Albert Hall – The Royal Albert Hall offers £1 subsidised tickets for children and families for some of their family events. These tickets are available for children who are eligible for free school meals, who are looked after by the local authority or in foster care, families who live in social housing or who are eligible for housing benefit.   4. Little Angel Theatre – The ‘Puppets for All’ scheme is available to anyone who receives state benefits and otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford to visit the Theatre. Fill in the form: www.littleangeltheatre.com

  5. London Transport Museum – £1 tickets are available for those receiving Universal Credit, with under 17’s free.

  6. Science MuseumNatural History MuseumV&ABritish MuseumNational GalleryHorniman MuseumImperial War Museum and many more: all have free general entry for all. Bring a packed lunch to save money.

  7. Tate Britain and Tate Modern – free entry for all and both have free children’s areas and activities.

  8. National Maritime Museum has a big children’s play area – free but timed entry that needs to be booked.

  9. Free Lights Festival at Battersea Power Station until 5 March: batterseapowerstation.co.uk/events
