- Andy’s Man Club
Mondays 7-9pm at Pecan 121a Peckham High street SE15 5SE | (MEN ONLY)Alongside our regular services, Andy’s Man Club Peckham continues to grow as a vital lifeline for men’s mental health. Attendance has risen sharply, with 19 men attending in a single week, six for the first time. Since opening, 295 men have walked through the door.
As Shahid, former facilitator, says:
“Andy’s Man Club has played a vital role in enabling Pecan to extend meaningful support to men within the community, providing a safe space where they can talk openly, access help, and feel genuinely heard.”
Men who attend put it simply:
“It’s good to have somewhere to go and talk.”
“We began as strangers, but we soon became friends on a shared journey of healing.”Stuart, Regional Area Lead South at Andy’s Man Club, shared:
“Having a safe non-judgmental place to attend on a Monday is supporting and changing lives… We at AMC can’t thank Pecan enough for supporting the community and making a difference.”
And as Scott, facilitator at Andy’s Man Club Peckham, puts it:
“Andy’s Man Club is a lifeline for many men in South London thanks to Pecan.”
“Pecan truly demonstrates its values by helping men talk and preventing suicide.”Together, you are helping people feel fed, supported, and heard — and that changes lives.
- The Bold Chorus at Bold Tendencies is returning this summer as part of our 20th anniversary season
Following two sold out performances and an incredible response last year, Garland by Oliver Leith, a composer and rising star of live performance, will be performed again on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 June 2026. Rehearsals will take place on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 June. We’re inviting returning singers and new members to join the Bold Chorus – to sing, walk and gather together in a shared act of communion and be part of the large cast of performers.
Garland is a physically demanding piece that involves movement across the site, however, we are committed to supporting access needs and welcome conversations about how we can make participation possible.
No previous experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to take part. If you’re interested in getting involved this year, please email community@boldtendencies.com
