Pecan COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Updates
From Monday 6 April 2020 the Southwark Foodbank will be moving to home deliveries ONLY for the forseeable future.
This is to ensure that those in need of support, who are following government guidelines by self-isolating due to the COVID-19 pandemic can stay at home and still receive the provisions they need.
We will run the regular Wednesday session at for the moment at:
City Hope Church
111 Drummond Road
We want to do everything we can to safeguard the health of clients, volunteers, and staff by minimising social contact.
We still work on a voucher system, so in order to use the foodbank people need to be referred by a voucher holder.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for all foodbank enquiries.
From Wednesday 8th April, the Peckham Pantry will be moving to home delivery for all members and will not be opening the session at St Luke's Church. This is to minimize social contact and provide support to those self-isolating.
All face-to-face appointments at Pecan were suspended in March in line with government guidelines around working from home and social distancing.
The Employment team are providing phone support for all existing and new clients and are finding ways to work from home and support the wellbeing of our clients as well as continuing to support clients finding sustainable employment.
We want to provide support as best we can during this uncertain time. If you have any enquiries abut employment support, please email email@example.com.
All group meetings such as cafes and workshops have been suspended in line ith government guidelines.
The Hourbank team are supporting members with phone support and exploring options to continue to support the wellbeing of our members.
The Women's Service has adapted day-to-day services from face-to-face sessions with women's advocates and is supporting the women in our service over the phone and with wellbeing and practical support
