Information, advice and guidance
Our IAG borough-wide service supports some of the most disadvantaged people by identifying and solving problems which face job seekers, those who are unemployed, economically inactive and local employers.
We work with clients with a variety of needs, including: mental health issues, learning difficulties, lone parents, academically challenged, on benefit or no benefit.
All clients are seen individually by an Adviser and are assessed and supported to boost their confidence and receive training and support in finding jobs, volunteering and work placements. This is a free service.
Once a person is in a job, advisers offer short-term support to clients as their needs require.
