About Us

Pecan is a Christian organisation with the vision to see the lives of those we work with transformed, many of whom face seemingly insurmountable barriers. Working with vulnerable groups such as ex-offenders, their families, refugees and asylum seekers, young people and the long term unemployed, we seek to enable each individual to achieve their full potential and through that to see transformation in the community around us.   All our projects aim to address the multiple needs of our participants and work towards their social inclusion, through the development of holistic projects. We work in partnership with the local church supporting initiatives to meet the needs of the community, as well as seeking to be an advocate for those we work with by challenging inequality & injustice on a local and national level.   Please use this website to read up on our history, find out about our current projects and see how you can get involved.   Pecan can only operate in the way that it does to the generous donations of its supporters.  If you would like to donate to our work please click on the button below.
